We are an organization created in January 2010 by students at the University of INATEK in Kibungo, eastern Rwanda. We began activities to help young, homeless and other vulnerable children have hope and gain skills to overcome their horrific life. We promote skills development in basic literacy and education, arts and entertainment.
We have since grown to include a focus on peace-building and the use of arts. We seek to engage more young people and to promote peace through the creative activities of youth in art, painting, photography, filming, music and dance.
We work in partnership, striving to bring together the knowledge and experience of organizations in different sectors – education, government, NGOs, etc. – who focus on youth, peace and development in Africa.
